Painting Exhibition By Medaş

The new exhibition “Figure in Modern Turkish Painting” hosted by MEDAŞ Art Gallery opened with attendance of Governor of Konya Muammer Erol, Justice and Development Party, Member of the Parliament Hüseyin Üzülmez, Provincial Assembly President Ali Selvi, managers of MEDAŞ and the art-lovers.

In the opening speech, MEDAŞ General Manager Muhittin Murat said they were excited about opening the exhibition in MEDAŞ Art Gallery.He also gave information about the exhibition and said “it was aimed to introduce a different section from Turkish painting by displaying the paintings largely about figures that belong to famous artists.We also believe that MEDAŞ Art Gallery will be the meeting point of artists and the art-lovers by new events and exhibitons”.

After Mr. Murat’s speech, cutting of the ribbon ceremony was held and the new exhibiton opened to the visitors.There are 24 artists with 40 paintings in the exhibition performed with different artistic perceptions of figures in Turkish painting.

MEDAŞ Art Gallery placed in Konya Selçuklu Province, can be visited untill October 5,2013 between 11.00 am-19.00 pm.
