Alarko Continues to Transform Women’s Potential into Value Through the Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program

A new term has begun for the Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program, launched by Alarko Holding in collaboration with Habitat Association in 2023 with the vision of accelerating social transformation by fostering a more balanced landscape for women’s entrepreneurship. Through training modules held periodically throughout the year, field gatherings, and the “Entrepreneurship Redifined” video series, the program aims to create an inclusive and sustainable impact within the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Designed to provide multidimensional support both for women entrepreneurs seeking to scale their existing ventures and for aspiring entrepreneurs aiming to establish their own businesses, the Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program continues to generate sustainable value in its fourth year. Built on the belief that women’s active participation in business life, production, and entrepreneurship forms the foundation of a more inclusive and resilient model of economic development, the program will continue to leave a meaningful mark on Türkiye’s entrepreneurship ecosystem through its enriched content and expanding scope.

The training curriculum is updated each year in line with the evolving needs of women entrepreneurs and emerging global trends. This year’s focus areas include “Operational Efficiency with Artificial Intelligence,” “Data-Driven Storytelling and Community Management,” “Impact-Oriented Sustainability Strategies,” and “Customer Experience Design.”

In addition to recurring training sessions throughout the year, Alarko Holding and Habitat Association will continue to strengthen collective learning through field trainings organized in different cities and inspirational “From Dream to Success” gatherings. Meanwhile, the “Entrepreneurship Redifined” YouTube series, which debuted last year and introduced a fresh perspective to the entrepreneurship ecosystem, will continue in 2026 with new content.

Within the grant phase of the program, through which 40 ventures have been supported to date, even more women-led initiatives operating in sectors critical to sustainable development will be supported through a multi-stakeholder structure involving various Alarko Group companies.

Every Unit Of Investment Generates 3.5 Times Social Impact

Alarko Holding approaches gender equality and equal opportunity as a transformative responsibility embedded across every area of its operations from decision making processes and ways of working to field practices and long-term objectives. Developed with this perspective, the Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program offers women a holistic development platform where they can transform their entrepreneurial potential into sustainable success. Through training, mentorship, networking opportunities, branding support, experience sharing platforms, and commercial collaboration opportunities, the program has provided training to more than 4,000 women from all 81 provinces of Türkiye and grant support to 40 ventures to date.

Through the program, women entrepreneurs who qualify for grant support with innovative business models become part of a broad value ecosystem while also gaining access to the extensive supplier network of the Alarko Group of Companies.

To date, the program has contributed to the branding and growth journeys of numerous entrepreneurs developing solutions across diverse fields such as algae based waste technologies, digital beekeeping, next-generation agriculture, aromatic cosmetics, functional foods, contemporary craftsmanship, bioplastic production from food waste, local products, wearable biomedical devices, child development, ecotourism, agricultural machinery, sustainable furniture, and cultural development.

Continuously carried out since 2023, the program also stands out through its measurable social impact. According to the social impact analysis conducted for the program, evaluations based on multidimensional criteria including participants’ income growth, employment generation capacity, digital competency gains, and positioning within the entrepreneurship ecosystem revealed that every single unit of investment in the project generates 3.53 units of social value.

Having received the “Işıldayanlar Award” last year, followed by the “Women-Friendly Brands” and “Nasıl Bir Ekonomi Newspaper – Company Supporting Equal Opportunity Award” in 2026, the program will continue to expand its social impact in the new term.
