Born in 1960, Edip İlkbahar graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering of Boğaziçi University in 1983. In 1984, he started to work at the Foreign Trade Department of Alarko. Having been Foreign Trade Group Manager from 1987 to 1992, Mr. İlkbahar was put in charge of the Group's tourism investments in 1993. Alarko Tourism Group is involved in hotel, sports facilities, cinema and spa business with the Hillside brand. Mr. İlkbahar speaks English and French.
