Contract Signed for Highway to be Built by Alarko in Bucharest
A contract has been signed between the Romanian National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) and Alsim Alarko, who was awarded the construction project for the second stage of the highway to be built around Bucharest.
The signing ceremony at the Transport Ministry’s offices in Bucharest was attended by Romanian Minister of Transport Razvan Cuc, Alarko Holding Chairman İzzet Garih, CEO Ayhan Yavrucu, Contracting Group General Manager Alper Kaptanoğlu, and Assistant General Manager Mustafa Gafuroğlu.
According to information provided by CNAIR, the construction of the 16.3-kilometer highway is going to take 42 months and cost EUR 158 million.
