Alarko’s Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program Opens Grant Applications for Women Entrepreneurs

Applications are now open for the 2025 grant phase of the Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program, launched by Alarko Holding in collaboration with the Habitat Association to empower women entrepreneurs, accelerate sustainable development, and support inclusive growth in the Turkish economy. Applications for the program, which will provide a total of TL 2,500,000 in grant support to 25 women entrepreneurs this year, will remain open until 5 December 2025.

Alarko Holding, believing that women’s full and equal participation in economic life forms the foundation of inclusive and sustainable development, has opened applications for this year’s grant phase of the Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program, implemented in collaboration with the Habitat Association, known for its projects that make a meaningful impact in the social sphere. The Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program offers women entrepreneurs the opportunity to join a strong ecosystem encompassing knowledge, experience, branding, and networking. Over the past three years, it has provided training, mentoring, and grant support to those seeking to turn their dreams into success. Women entrepreneurs aiming to grow their businesses, strengthen their operations, and carry their brands into the future will have the chance to secure a total of TL 2,500,000 in financial support following a preliminary evaluation and jury presentations. Applications will be accepted until 5 December 2025. Following a preliminary evaluation, 35 women entrepreneurs will be invited to participate in a mentoring program. After successfully completing the jury evaluation, 25 women entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to grow their businesses and realize their full potential. 

This year, the Agriculture Group, operating within the Alarko Group of Companies, is also contributing to the project. Among the 25 women entrepreneurs participating in the program, Alarko Agriculture Group will provide grant support to five business models operating in the agricultural sector.

The grant phase of the Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program, which aims to empower women to participate more strongly, visibly, and sustainably in the economic sphere through education, mentorship, and financial support, is open to women entrepreneurs registered with chambers of commerce and craftsmen’s associations, women who own sole proprietorships, limited liability companies, and corporations, as well as women’s cooperatives. Applications can be submitted via the link on Alarko Holding’s and the Habitat Association’s social media accounts or through the Habitat Association’s website.

The grant program, covering a wide range of areas including smart agriculture, access to safe food, green energy, sustainable tourism, good living solutions, sustainable production, creative industries, and qualified digital services, also aims to promote initiatives that increase women’s employment and create positive social change by offering solutions for children, the elderly, and disadvantaged individuals.
 
Alarko Holding will provide 20 grants, and Alarko Agriculture Group will provide 5 grants, totaling TL 2,500,000, to women entrepreneurs, supporting them in increasing their businesses’ production capacities and strengthening their brands. The 35 women entrepreneurs selected from the applicants will present their projects before a jury of experts in their respective fields following the mentoring process. Entrepreneurs who distinguish themselves with sustainable, innovative, and socially valuable business models will become eligible for grant support based on the jury’s evaluation. 
 

Multifaceted contributions to local economies by empowered women entrepreneurs

Founded in 1954 by two young entrepreneurs and now a well-established brand with over 70 years of history in the Turkish economy, Alarko Holding’s Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program is a tangible reflection of its vision centered on equal opportunity, sustainable development, and social benefit. Now in its third year, the program continues to reach women entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs across Turkey.

Launched in 2023 in collaboration with the Habitat Association, the project has reached approximately 4,000 women to date, increasing its target each year. During the 2025 period, participants’ knowledge, skills, and business model development capacities were strengthened through a program comprising 320 hours of training across five different modules. The training sessions, delivered both theoretically and practically, covered brand identity creation, AI-powered digital marketing, design thinking, e-export, and financial management. 

The program not only provides participants with training and financial support but also offers mentorship, networking, visibility, and sustainable business development opportunities, enabling women entrepreneurs to become part of a strong and resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Program, which makes tangible contributions to gender equality and inclusive economic growth in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, also delivers multifaceted benefits to local economies through empowered women entrepreneurs.
