Born in Karadeniz Ereğli in 1977, Serkan Mekikoğlu graduated in 2000 from the Department of Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Boğaziçi University. Mekikoğlu began his professional career in 2000 at Alarko Tourism Group as a Systems Analysis Specialist. Throughout his career within the Group, he has held various positions including Project Development Specialist, Information Technologies Manager, Director of Information Technologies, Director of Project and Business Development, Sports Facilities Marketing Manager, and Marketing and Business Development Manager. Since 2022, he has been serving as Deputy General Manager responsible for Marketing and Business Development, and as of 2026, he has been appointed General Manager of Alarko Tourism Group. Serkan Mekikoğlu is fluent in English.
